On 09/01/2017 at about 1330 hrs John Pratt Smith age 60 yrs was in charge of M/Sprinter No AS 8823-10 with 23 passengers from Accra towards Bogoso.On reaching a section of the road near Gomoa Adam Junction a Toyota V8 Sequoia No.GT 170-15 from Cape Coast towards Accra was allegedly avoiding a lunatic who was walking in his lane.
In the process the Toyota V8 grazed the offside of the Benz Sprinter.As a result the Benz Sprinter veered into the offside bush and landed on the driver's side.All the occupants of the sprinter sustained serious injuries and rushed to the Apam Catholic Hosp for treament including the drivers. They are responding to treatment. The badly damaged vehicles are yet to be removed from the bush to the Police Station.
