A few minutes ago the President of the Republic of Ghana, Mr. John Mahama made a call to Nana Akufo Addo the leading opposition Leader to concede defeat and to congratulate him as the new President elect.
The President has shown great maturity and salvaged a possible confrontation between both parties as tension was building up.
